Transfer Recruitment Team New Member Application

    Thank you for your interest in working with our Transfer Recruitment Team at Georgia Tech! We operate out of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions which is located in the Bill Moore Student Success Center. Our office cannot fully operate without the amazing time and effort that our student volunteers put in assisting visiting families and the admissions office. Prior to completing the application, all prospective applicants should take a moment to become familiar with the following requirements and responsibilities that are expected of each member of the team.

     

    Transfer Recruitment Team (TRT) Requirements

    • Completion of one semester at Georgia Tech and must be enrolled through spring 2018.
    • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
    • Must have excellent communication skills
    • Ability to represent Georgia Tech effectively to internal and external constituents.
    • Have a positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to commit at least one semester of participation.
    • Availability to participate in a transfer information session once a month (Fridays at Noon).
    • Availability to attend a mandatory Orientation Session (Date: TBA).
    • Availability to participate in TRT meetings (Bi-Weekly).
    • Availability to participate in Undergraduate Admissions events during fall and spring semesters.


    Expectations of our Transfer recruitment Team

    • Assists with Prospective Student Webinars and New Student Webinars
    • Assists with Transfer Information Sessions and Campus Tours
    • Executes Phone Call Campaigns to potential and accepted students
    • Serves as information resources and friendly representatives for potential students and families
    • Assists teams within TRT: Recruitment, Outreach, Fundraising, and/or Communication
    • Helps with accepted transfer receptions (Hosted by TSA, which will help acclimate new transfer students to campus. Introduce clubs, organizations, and resources on campus.)


    Hours (Flexible upon your schedule)

    • Mandatory Orientation/Training
    • Mandatory Bi-Weekly Meetings
    • Friday Information Sessions from 12:00-1:00 pm
    • Hours are flexible and we will work with your schedule for other TRT Events
