Step Through The South 2026 Interest Form


    Vanderbilt, Sewanee, Emory, and Georgia Tech are excited to welcome a small group of counselors to visit our campuses directly following the International ACAC Conference in Pittsburgh. Selected counselors will be notified by the middle of April and will receive a detailed schedule and expectations for attendance. 

    Details of the Visit Program
    Dates:     Friday, July 17 – Tuesday, July 21, 2026  
    Locations: Begin in Nashville, TN and conclude in Atlanta, GA 
    Universities Included: Vanderbilt University; Sewanee: The University of the South; Emory University; Georgia Institute of Technology

    Costs Covered by the Host Universities:

    • Flight from Pittsburgh to Nashville
    • 4 nights of hotel accommodations (Friday night - Monday night)
    • Group transportation for each visit, beginning in Nashville and ending in Atlanta
    • Meals throughout the program

    Costs Covered by the Participating Counselor:

    • Flight departing from Atlanta
    • Any additional hotel nights
    • Any personal transportation, additional food, or other incidentals
    Tentative Schedule:
    • Friday, July 17: Arrival to Nashville and begin visit with Vanderbilt
    • Saturday, July 18: Morning visit with Vanderbilt and travel to Sewanee for afternoon visit
    • Sunday, July 19: Morning visit with Sewanee, travel to Atlanta, and begin visit with Georgia Tech
    • Monday, July 20: Full day visit with Emory University and Oxford College of Emory
    • Tuesday: July 21*: Visit with Georgia Tech and evening departure
    *Programming on July 21 should conclude by 3 p.m. Attendees planning to depart on Tuesday should reserve evening flights to ensure they can stay for the entire programming.
