Virtual Preview Georgia Tech Open House

    Dates: October 18 - November 4, 2021
    • Programming will take place between Monday-Thursday each week.
    Time: Sessions will be between 4-7pm EDT
    Description: Virtual Preview Georgia Tech is an online open house event that spans across three-weeks in the month of October and November, offering prospective high school and transfer students the opportunity to get an inside look at what it is like to be a member of the Tech community.

    Although our event will continue to be held in a virtual format this year, you will have the opportunity to register for multiple sessions each week to learn more about Georgia Tech, your academic college of interest, student resources on campus, as well as talk with faculty, staff, and current students. 

    New - Transfer Track! 

    The Transfer Track for Virtual Preview Tech provides specific sessions to help prepare to transfer to Georgia Tech.  

    Transfer students may participate in all Virtual Preview Tech general sessions, with a special invitation to hear from current transfer students and the transfer focused sessions below: 

    • Transfer Admission Session
    • Transfer Student Panel
    • Connect with a Counselor (It is encouraged to attend a Transfer Admission Session prior to Connect with a Counselor.)
    • Navigating GT Resources hosted by CEED
    • And More!  
    Advanced registration is required for this event, and we do not maintain a waitlist once the event reaches capacity.

    Getting to know Georgia Tech

    Including: First-Year Admission, International First-Year Admission, Transfer Admission, Financial Aid, and Student Panels hosted by our Underrepresented Student Recruitment Teams!

    Week 2:


    Academics

    Including: Our six Georgia Tech colleges, plus many major specific sessions!

    Week 3:


    Student Resources & Activities

    Including: Career Center, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Housing and Residence Life, Learning Communities, LGBTQIA Resource Center, Undergraduate Research, and more!
    Transfer Track

    Sessions Include: Transfer Admission, Transfer Pathway Programs, Transfer Student Panel    		Transfer Track
